Great food and even better service! Jhon was beyond stellar. They need to train whoever it is who answers the phone better. We almost cancelled our reservation because when we asked the dress code the girl told us everyone wore suit jackets and dresses unless you sat at the bar. When we showed up it was totally casual. It would have been upsetting to miss such a great meal due to the fact what she told us was completely untrue. Oh and if you are a Bourbon lover this is your place. They had at least 5 pages of bourbons to choose from.

I had planned to have lunch at Don’s Seafood, but when I saw the parking lot completely packed, I decided not to get out of the truck. I searched Google Maps for other nearby options and Social Southern stood out with its strong customer reviews. I decided to give it a try and I am glad I did. The atmosphere is relaxed yet upscale with a welcoming bar and attentive service. I started with an Old Fashioned made with George T. Stagg Barrel Proof bourbon and enjoyed it so much that I ordered a second one. Both were smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced. For lunch, I ordered the pepperoni flatbread with a crisp crust, melted cheese, and flavorful pepperoni. The bartender brought out some spicy ranch to go with it, and that extra kick made it even more delicious. I finished with a warm brownie studded with pecans, topped with ice cream, and drizzled with chocolate sauce. The combination of rich chocolate, crunchy pecans, and creamy ice cream was absolutely delicious. My tab came to around $240, largely due to the two premium Old Fashioneds, but every sip and bite was worth it. Social Southern is now on my must-visit list whenever I am in Lafayette.

Very nice restaurant. I went there on a Friday night for dinner. I had to wait about 30 mins for a seat. The waitress was really nice and knowledgeable about the menu and the drink selections. This is a upscale restaurant as well. I love how you can see them cooking your food in the kitchen it make it a real authentic feeling. The food was presented very nice and elegant. I wish there would be more drink selection on there menu they were out of 3 drink selection. Which narrowed it down to 5 different options. But will definitely try them again in the near future.

We had an amazing experience at Social. Our drinks were TOP TIER. Our bartender Colt did such a great job! Drinks were well-balanced and flavor was on POINT. Service was amazing! Our food was timely and delicious. We will be back and tell all of our friends to come here too.

Even though they are going through and renovations this place is gorgeous! Everyone we encountered was absolutely the sweetest. Abby was our waitress and even for being busy she was on top of everything from drinks to food. The food oh my gosh my mouth eaters just thinking about it. It was so delicious and flavorful. The drinks were beautifully on point also and so yummy. Highly recommend!!!

We got the Burnt Ends for an appetizer and had to get an extra order to-go because they were so good. I got the grilled pork-chop which was the best pork chop I have ever tasted. I had the blackberry 75 and it amazing. Colby was our server and he was absolutely fantastic! Great atmosphere, great server, great food, GREAT RESTAURANT!!

My wife and I enjoy a rare date night. I had the steak & frites and my wife had the smoked Chicken & Sweet Potato Biscuits. The food was very good. The service was top shelf and the atmosphere was perfect. We were looking for a place we could actually have a conversation and not have to yell across the table.

We try a different restaurant every time we have soccer tourneys in Lafayette. This evening we experienced the best we’ve had in years. EVERYTHING we ordered was perfectly seasoned and cooked. TEN out of five stars all day long. Pepperoni flatbread for appetizer. Ethan: Short ribs over polenta Shawn: Hangar steak and frites with chimichurri sauce Audrina: fire roasted chicken with sweet potatoes Me: fire grilled pork chop over dirty rice with orange vinaigrette Dessert: turtle brownie with bourbon dulce de leche Everyone had clean plates. Elevated flavors. Kid friendly modifications. Farm to table and fire grilled fresh. We are looking forward to our next visit to try other menu items. New FAVORITE eatery in Laffy. Highly recommend.

Exceptional food with well balanced flavors, nothing was too salty or too sweet while also still having that cooked from scratch taste. The smoked fried chicken had a beautiful smokey and wasn’t dry and breaded perfectly. The Brussels sprouts were my favorite dish and paired amazingly with the garlic aioli. The sweet potato biscuits were flakey and fresh. We haven’t had good food like this in a while! The atmosphere was perfect without being too dark or too lit along with the music being at the perfect pitch to be able to properly socialize without yelling. The customer service was even better. Our server was not only attentive, she did amazing at explaining different specials to us, making dining a breeze. The hospitality by all the workers is also worth noting. We will definitely be back, maybe even as regulars.
